Hypsoblennius ionthas is a species of combtooth blenny found in the western Atlantic ocean.[1] It was first named by Jordan and Gilbert in 1882,[1] and is commonly known as the Freckled blenny.[2] It can reach a maximum length of 10 centimetres.[1]
